Fellow Role at Heartland International:
Hasan will work as the Sudan Taskforce Project Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation of a project to support the taskforce. He will ensure that all program activities are implemented in line with the project’s work plan and in accordance with organization and donor requirements. Hasan will be responsible for oversight of all components of the project and for quarterly reporting.

Fellow Role at BroadFutures:
Nyasha will support the Program Director and CEO with coordination and management of the BroadFutures program, including program development and implementation, communications and marketing. He will also help BroadFutures to serve a greater number of interns both directly through the program and through in-services and workshops.

Preparation & Training - Peace Corps

There are some very talented Peace Corps bloggers out there (with surprisingly good Internet connections, it seems) humorously documenting the weird, everyday quirks of being a PCV (my favorites are How a PCV Puts it Gently , What Should PCVs Call Me and Peace Corps 656 ). There are even some Youtube videos, like Poop in a Hole , that I wish I had seen before my departure. They capture the fact that our lives as PCVs are different from what we had at home. In most Peace Corps countries, you may stand out and get an unusual amount of attention for it.

Carlos will develop creative content to capture and engage audiences, work directly with clients to help them tell their stories in a variety of mediums, and build valuable writing, communications, and fundraising experience.

Fellow Role at DC SCORES:
Olga will be a significant contributor to DC SCORES as she works to pilot and evaluate new program streams and to respond to the unique challenges and leverage the unique opportunities of this critical moment in DC SCORES’ history.

Build your skills in translation, consecutive interpretation, and simultaneous interpretation in order to enhance cross-cultural understanding and communication.

Fellow Role at Susan G. Komen:
Vivien will be exposed to the different components of the organization, from breast cancer assessment reports and community profiles, to individual projects and grants. She will also assist with other program activities including the arrangement of site visits, planning of roundtable meetings, data collection to assess impact, and the creation of presentations and marketing tools.

Fellow Role at American Red Cross:
Shumaila will support a 7 year grant-funded project on Organizational Learning, conducting literature reviews of key learning questions, writing summary reports of program evaluations and supporting the dissemination and utilization of knowledge products, lessons learned, and evaluation findings.

Fellow Role at TIMEP:
As the TIMEP-Atlas Corps Bassem Sabry Democracy Fellow, Hussein will work in a research capacity with the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP), for the duration of six months. The design of the Fellow’s research will be developed in conjunction with TIMEP’s directorial staff.

Abrefa will be responsible for developing monitoring tools, such as surveys, reading assessments, and electronic data collection templates data analysis and visualization reviewing, editing, and providing guidelines for the collection impact stories and lessons learned from the field. He will also ensure that data storage systems, records, and files are set up to support training for staff, enumerators and partners as required on data collection and monitoring as required and support internal & external communication of lessons learnt and best practices.

As the ACE YCP Crew Leader, you will lead a crew of five locally recruited high school students to complete a variety of conservation field projects and environmental education activities alongside the National Park Service at Canaveral National Seashore in Florida.
